Denis proposed to Michelle on the best camping trip of our lives at the top of a beautiful cliff overlooking the Cosumnes River in the Sierra Nevadas (captured by our Polaroids above). We are already forever and this is just a formality, but it’s also the perfect excuse to have an awesome party and to share our love with our community. Sure we were meant to be, our friends introduced us at a summer party in 2012; Michelle was 19 and Denis was 21. We were skeptical at first, neither of us were keen on the idea of being set up especially at such a young age. But they knew us better than we knew ourselves because by the end of the night we were listening to the full discography of Pink Floyd together and talking about our favorite B-movies; time melted away until sunrise. We haven’t stopped talking since.

Our story is weaved in campgrounds and concert halls, road trips and hiking trails. With Denis’ roots in Ventura and Michelle’s in LA, we travelled back and forth for years until we were able to move in with friends and eventually settle into a place of our own. We truly grew up side by side and manifested our dreams together, inspiring each other to pursue our passions and become our most authentic selves. We worked really hard to get here. 13 years in, we’ve built our life as creatives fully immersed in our crafts, over-indulging in gigs and festivals, treating ourselves to nature adventures, raising our sweet puppy Lady Lou, sharing our best friends and being fully ingrained in each other’s families. We’re so grateful for the love and support that surround us.
