FAQs

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Either semi-formal or business casual will be great! We want you to be comfortable so we can celebrate together!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

o Once formal invites go out – if your invitation says “and guest” or addresses both you and your partner by name, then yes! Otherwise, we prefer if it was just you. o Since guests lists with complete names and contact information must be submitted to the venues 2 weeks prior to the event, we don’t have flexibility for last minute changes or additions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, but need to be on the formal invitation and RSVP. As noted above, all attendees need to be fully vaccinated or if under 12, present with negative COVID test within 48 hours.

Question

Can I attend only one or two of the events but not all three celebrations?

Answer

Yes, we would still love to see you! Please clearly indicate which event(s) you will be attending on the RSVP for each event.

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

For the health and safety of yourself and our guests, we request that all adults attending be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We encourage guests to get vaccinated if you are able in addition to getting a negative test for COVID-19 a few days before the event. All guests for the Vow Renewal Ceremony will be required to present vaccination cards or a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours prior to entering the building.

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Masks will be required at all times except when seated for dinner. This includes both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Masks will be provided should you not have one with you. Masks will be required at ALL times indoors at Memorial Church.

Question

Where can I get a COVID test if I need one?

Answer

Here is a list of nearby COVID testing sites:: Santa Clara County (children 5 and older): https://covid19.sccgov.org/covid-19-testing Stanford Healthcare testing in the Galvez Lot (children 4 and older): https://stanfordhealthcare.org/discover/covid-19-resource-center/testing.html RiteAid (children 4 and older): https://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/services/covid-19-testing CVS (https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing) and Walgreens (https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/covid19/testing?ext=gmb) test children 3+. Any children younger than 3 would need to go to Stanford Healthcare Express Care (https://stanfordhealthcare.org/medical-clinics/express-care-clinics.html) or an Urgent Care Clinic so that a physician can do it. Guests that have Kaiser as a health care provider should be able to get tested there.
