SALT RIVER WILD HORSES
Just 45–50 minutes from Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa, you can visit the beautiful Salt River in the Tonto National Forest, home to Arizona’s famous wild horses. These stunning horses roam freely along the riverbanks and can often be seen near Coon Bluff, Phon D Sutton, or Pebble Beach recreation sites along Bush Highway.
