GRANGER, INDIANA 15 minutes from the notoriously famous land of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Granger is the newer & cooler sister land of South Bend. With breweries, brunch spots and little boutiques, the entire Michiana area offers local gems & things to do scattered in between the beautiful cornfields of Indiana. Is it downtown Chicago? No. Is it coastal & sunny Southern California? Think again. It may not look like much, but it's near & dear to Annie's small town heart & the perfectly serene country setting to tie the knot. Here we share our most convenient spots to stay and favorite local spots to enjoy before & after we tie the knot. We also highly recommend a weekend in downtown Chicago, with the South Shore train line bringing you directly into South Bend on the day of our wedding. South Bend Airport (SBN)

This is our local airport. Slightly limited, but a 20 minute straight shot drive to our venue. This is also the location of the South Shore train from downtown Chicago.

Chicago O'hare (ORD)

A United hub, Chicago O'hare offers a wide variety of schedules and affordable prices on flights. A quick 2.5 hour drive will bring you to Granger, or you can utilize the train systems to bring you into the city of Chicago and a quick transfer brings you eventually into South Bend. A great option for our out of town guests who don't wish to rent a car or fight the Windy City traffic. ALL GUESTS TRAVELING INTO CHICAGO- Beware of the 1 hour time change. Chicago is on Central Standard Time (CST) while our Indiana town is on Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please consider and plan accordingly!

Train

South Shore Line from Chicago to South Bend

The South Shore Line takes travelers from Millennium Station (Downtown Chicago) to South Bend Airport. First stop to last stop-easy peasy! For about $15 and 2 hours, this no-frills option brings guests about 20 minutes from our venue. A taxi or Uber would be needed from there but are readily available. Make sure to look at the weekend and holiday schedules, as our wedding is Labor Day Weekend!
