We had actually met a couple years prior in 2017 through a mutual friend. We started talking while I was living in Tennessee but had planned on moving to Ohio at the end of August 2019. We decided to make it official on July 25, 2019 and were counting down the days until I moved. When I moved to Ohio, I moved in with Shawn right away. Here we are two years later and still going strong. They say when you know you know.

We took a trip home to visit my family and spend time on Torch Lake. Shawn knows that Torch Lake is one of my favorite places ever and it is absolutely gorgeous. We were getting on the boat to head back to the house and Shawn got down on one knee and proposed. I said YES, of course! My ring is so gorgeous, I love it. I can finally say we are getting MARRIED!!!
