We’re getting married!

We met when our mutual friends (Adrian and Lori) introduced us and Taylor stopped by Trevor's house for an impromptu first date. It was a beautiful fall day in Northern Michigan. We went to Mari Vineyards and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine and good conversation together. We sat outside on one of the picnic tables overlooking East Grand Traverse Bay. From there we decided it would be fun to go to Mt. Holiday for the annual Snowvember Fest festivities. We enjoyed some big laughs with good friends and watched people snowboard and ski and poked fun at them on our way through the night. We maybe didn't know it right away... but we both fell in love that evening. Truly the start of something special.

The only surprise that Trevor has been able to keep from Taylor so far. It was an incredible summer evening on the Nauti Cat cruise on West Grand Traverse Bay. Surrounded by a handful of friends and family, Trevor disappeared to the "restroom" and when he came back it just so happened that our favorite song was playing and we were having our photo taken together on the bow of the boat. Then all of a sudden, Trevor dropped to one knee and asked the most important question he has ever asked anyone in his life... "Taylor, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?". Taylor, surprised, fighting back tears and with the the biggest smile she had ever donned exclaimed "YES!" and that was that. That's when we started the next chapter together in our amazing love story and we are so grateful you all will be there as we continue our story as husband and wife.
