Our story started back in college, when a simple introduction turned into something so much bigger than either of us expected. After a lot of sweet persistence from PJ, I finally said yes to going on a date with him. From that very first date, everything just felt natural. We laughed easily, talked for hours, and somehow it already felt like we had known each other forever. It didn’t take long for us to realize this wasn’t just another college relationship. There was this quiet, unspoken feeling that we were meant to do life together. What started as one college date turned into almost seven incredible years of growing up side by side. We’ve celebrated milestones, worked through challenges, chased adventures, and built a life that feels like home no matter where we are. Through every season, one thing has always stayed the same: we’re happiest when we’re together. When it came time for PJ to propose, he made it perfectly us. On the most unforgettable trip to the Bahamas, after a long day spent fishing and diving, our favorite things to do together, we found ourselves on the beautiful island of Sandy Cay. The sun was shining, the water was crystal clear, and it felt like one of those moments you wish you could freeze in time. That’s when PJ got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. It was the easiest and most joyful “yes” I’ve ever said. Without a doubt, it was the most memorable trip of our lives and the sweetest beginning to our next chapter together.
