Best Dog
Oakley has been Alexa’s sidekick for 10 years! They met at a horse show in Oklahoma and have been inseparable since. Odds are if you know Alexa, you also know Oakley. He’s a fan of frisbee, food, and his mom. He is not a fan of the chickens, or the cat, or when no one is touching him. Some have referred to him as “the best boy” and honestly, they would be correct.
Kota

Kota joined the fam about 5 years ago when JJ was looking for a new hunting partner. He was looking to get into pheasant hunting and turns out Kota’s family had been doing that for generations. While Kota and John do enjoy bird hunting, she will gladly fetch anything you might want to throw for her. Catch her waiting for someone to toss a toy.
River
Pup of Honor
River hasn’t been around for long, but boy has he made an impact. Some have described Riv as “a full body experience” or “a bull in a china shop” or even “a walking tornado”. But when asked he described himself as “just a really helpful dude”. River really rounded out the family and we wouldn’t have it any other way. But in case you were wondering; 3 dogs is too many dogs.

When Alexa and John moved to the country they discovered they needed to hire someone to keep the barn free of intruders. Oh man, Billy was the right guy for the job. Along with being a stellar employee, Billy has also managed to turn both JJ and Alexa into cat lovers. In another act of magic, he somehow keeps spending more and more time inside the house.
