Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be indoors at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The reception will be held at our ranch venue, which is an outdoor covered pavilion. Since our wedding is in late November in Texas, the weather could be warm, chilly, or somewhere in between! We recommend checking the forecast closer to the wedding date and dressing accordingly. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible based on the weather that day!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We don’t have a formal dress code, but we’d love for our guests to dress in western cocktail attire! Ladies are welcome to wear a cocktail, floor-length, or midi dress, dress pants, or a nice blouse. For gentlemen, starched jeans and a blazer are a great option. And of course, this is the perfect occasion for cowboy hats and boots!

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend, though we hope this can be an enjoyable evening out for parents as well! Because our reception is at our ranch venue, we kindly ask that any children attending remain closely supervised at all times.

Am I allowed to bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation is addressed to you “and guest” or includes your plus-one’s name, then yes, we would love for them to join us!

Are there accommodations near the venue or hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved hotel room blocks at the Hampton Inn & Suites and Best Western Inn in Brenham. Both hotels are within about 20 minutes of the reception venue. Please visit the Travel page for more information and booking details.
