They also have an ongoing, best of 7, handball series that will probably never be decided. Rich thinks he's winning 2-1.

Pete and Rich met while playing softball for MASL (Manhattan Athletic Social League). They got to know each other over a few drinks after the softball games every week. After Pete left the softball league, the friendship remained strong and possibly strengthened. Pete and Rich shared strange days off and would never hesitate to meet up for a few libations.

Rich proceeded to yell a profanity and roll his eyes at Chris. They continue to be combative with both of them looking forward to a boxing match at some point in their lives. Somehow, they are friends.
