We are optimistic that everyone invited should have access to the vaccine before the wedding weekend. If there is a surge of new varients and the bride, groom, and their families feel unsafe gathering we will make adjustments as needed to a virtual event. We want to stress if you do not feel safe traveling or being around people outside of your bubble we understand. There will be an option to zoom our ceremony from the comfort and safety of your own home. Just visit our "Schedule + Events" page and click the link to view the virtual ceremony.
If you will not be fully inoculated by the wedding we ask that you get a covid test the week before the wedding (the week of July 26th) and text your results to Charlie, Sarah, or Gail/Danny. Please also make sure you have your mask with you at all times.
Cocktail/semi-formal attire requested. The entire event is outdoors, so please bring a warm layer for the evening. The weather in August is unpredictable, it could be 60 or it could be 90 degrees. Layers are your friend. And don't forget your best accessory - your face mask.
At the end of the night, we will have buses at the venue to pick up guests and bring us back to the hotel in Everett. If you live or are staying in Seattle, that is an easier place to get an UBER/Lyft.
Yes, there is. We ask that you have a safe and sober driver to get you home if you plan to drive.
Check our Travel page with our recommendations of where to fly and stay. We have two hotel options: One in Everett near the wedding venue and the Paine Field airport and the other in North Seattle conveniently located so you can explore the city.
Absolutely! When you RSVP there will be a place for you to note this. We are still finalizing our food and doing our best to accommodate and provide options that will suit everyone.
No, we don't think it's far and we commute into the city frequently. If you choose to stay in Seattle, we recommend renting a car. Uber or Lyft could cost anywhere from $30 - $60 on a good day, to get from downtown Seattle to Edmonds or Everette. There is a lot more to see and do in Seattle and if it is your first time visiting the city we would recommend staying in a hotel downtown, or getting an Air BnB. Check out our "Things to Do" page for recommendations.
Jewish weddings are traditionally held on Sundays to avoid the ceremony conflicting with Shabbat.
