We met at Vacation Bible School in 2013. We were both class teachers and fell for each other immediately! we talked every day for the whole summer and the last day, we finally swapped numbers. From then on, we have never missed a day!

On August 1st, 2020, we spent my birthday at Indian Creek. The first time we went, we were rained out so I wanted to go back on a clearer day. The day went by without a hitch...that is until the end of the day. My dog, Aeganon, decided to take off after a deer. An hour and a half later, Aeganon came proudly trotting up to us somewhere in the woods of North Louisiana. Lost but happy, we found the main road and hiked back to the truck where Ben got down on a knee and proposed!! Turns out he had meant to propose RIGHT BEFORE Non took off after the deer.
