We’re Getting Married!

After a few weeks of suspicion, Marissa awoke to a house full of sticky notes skillfully placed in every room. Aaron informed her that there is an “easter egg hunt” custom designed for the biggest Swifite in the world. (Since Taylor Swift fans commonly refer to her hidden messages and clues as Easter eggs) Marissa spent the morning hunting around the house and putting the clues together to reveal a surprise adventure for the afternoon. One of the first clues instructed Marissa to get dressed up and ready to go to sip some wine. Instantly Marissa knew we were going to Gervasi, my favorite winery. We arrived to The Bistro and had a lovely meal, where we were introduced to our special occasion wine, Dolce Sera, handcrafted at the vineyard. After dinner, Marissa kept pressing to go get a bottle at the Market, but Aaron had a little bit better of a plan to go walk around the beautiful lake. We walked together until we got to a secluded arch area, opposite from the hustle and bustle of the main grounds. Suddenly, Marissa’s suspicions were confirmed and Aaron got down on one knee to ask the question of a lifetime. With tears in our eyes, Aaron slipped on my beautiful ring and we blissfully walked back to the car to tell everyone the good news!
