They both arrived within 10 minutes of each other at a new brewery local to where Michael grew up in Fairview, NC. It had a nice deck built by an old railroad train car. Stephanie was taking a video of the beautiful mountain scenery and it started pouring rain. She turned around to see Michael opening the door for her, assuming he worked there. Inside was a small sitting area in the car and they started talking until it closed. Numbers were exchanged with excitement for following through with various adventures they discussed between Nashville and Asheville. Organically… the conversations continued, love was in bloom and the magic began.

It was a late morning on Stephanie’s 32nd birthday when they went out to explore some hiking trails off Blue Ridge Parkway. They stopped at new overlook and were in awe of the view. It was a bit chilly, so Michael insisted he go up and grab her flannel. When he came back down, he took her hand with a glazed look in his eyes and proposed. Stephanie was in shock and opened the box to find the kite shaped salt & pepper diamond she always wanted. It was the best birthday ever! Celebrating love now and forever.
