There is no dress code. We want our guests to be comfortable! The ceremony will take place on the grass lawn in front of the barn, and then the reception will take place in the barn.
Currently, at a week out, temperatures are forecast to be warm during the day in the 70s or 80s. Then they will drop down into the 60s at night. (Note that this may feel a little chilly for our guests coming from much farther south.)
There are plenty of inns, cottages, and Airbnbs within just a few miles of the venue. The venue also offers tent camping for any who are interested. The campground is behind the barn in the woods and includes plenty of campsites, a bonfire pit, and great opportunities for nature walks around the property. If you are interested in camping, please contact Nick or Emily as soon as possible. (Camper vans and RVs will be allowed at the discretion of venue owner.)
If you are flying in, you can rent a car or request a shuttle from us. We are giving free rides to and from the airport. To sign up, please fill out the shuttle form at: tinyurl.com/VTWeddingShuttles
We have plenty of on-site parking at the venue. You will see signs as you come down the venue driveway for a parking area on your right.
First, please do not drink and drive! We will be providing free shuttles to off-site lodging after both the Friday welcome party and the Saturday reception. If you will be drinking and will need a sober ride to your lodging, please fill out the shuttle form as soon as possible: tinyurl.com/VTWeddingShuttles (In the morning, we will help coordinate getting people back to their vehicles at the venue if needed. We have plenty of volunteers!)
At this point in time, we can no longer add additional guests for reception catering. However, please reach out to Nick and Emily if you would like to me a last-minute addition of a guest and we will see if there is a possible way to make it work!
We love fuzzy friends and wish we could say yes, but unfortunately guests cannot bring pets to the venue.
