There is no strict dress code. We want our guests to be comfortable! You can dress in traditional formal wear or you can opt for dressy-casual. Note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the grass lawn in front of the barn.
The weather in Montgomery Center in August is lovely, with an average daytime high in the 70s and a nighttime low around 60. We are crossing our fingers for clear skies and sunshine, but if it rains, we can easily move the ceremony and cocktail hour into the barn.
If you are interested in bringing guests who are not already included as plus-ones on your invitation, please contact us directly so that we can check if we have capacity.
We love fuzzy friends and wish we could say yes, but unfortunately guests cannot bring pets to the venue.
Check out the travel section for information about accommodations. We have a group discount code for guests to stay at Jay Peak Resort, which will have a shuttle to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. There are also a number of inns and Airbnbs in the area. We recommend booking earlier rather than later! Lastly, we have tent camping sites at the venue. You are welcome to stay at a camping site free of charge as long as we still have capacity. If you are interested in camping, please let us know on the RSVP form or contact us directly.
We have plenty of on-site parking at the venue. You will see signs as you come down the venue driveway for a parking area on your right.
If you are flying in, car rentals are available at the Burlington Airport. We also plan to make shuttle trips to bring guests from the airport to Montgomery Center if there is interest. If you are interested in an airport shuttle, please let us know on the RSVP form or by contacting us directly.
