Unfortunately due to budget restrictions we aren’t able to accommodate all the children we would like to. Please refer to your invitation and reach out with any questions.
Question
Which airport should I fly into?
Answer
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is the closest airport to the Tahoe area at about 30 min from Truckee and 50 minutes to Palisades Tahoe and Tahoe City. Sacramento International Airport is about 2 hours away and the Bay Area airports (Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose) are roughly 3-4 hours away.
Question
What will the weather be like in the Tahoe region in September?
Answer
We could get a freak snowstorm or it can be a nice warm 75 degree day in September. The nights get a little chilly and can reach a low of 40 degrees at dawn. However, it will likely range from 60-70 degrees in September and during the wedding. There will be heaters and firepits. If inclement weather, the reception will be moved into the lodge. We will update this website with more up to date weather closer to the event.

Which area should we stay in?
Answer
Both Truckee and Tahoe City are the 2 main towns that are close by with many AirBnB's and hotels. Reno has more budget friendly options if you are prepared to drive 50 minutes to the venue. There are no hotels directly at the venue but Palisades Tahoe has a few hotels and a 10 minute drive. We will also have a shuttle to get guests over to the main village at Palisades.
