On the first day of JCU’s freshman orientation, I saw Patrick across the auditorium making everyone around him laugh. My friend dared me to message Patrick on Twitter and say "we should be friends." Patrick immediately answered "I was thinking the same thing, Schrammwow." About an hour later, I ran into Patrick in the caf where he welcomed himself to sit with me and my girlfriends. From that point on, we were just really good friends.

Maggie believed we had brunch reservations to celebrate my dad's birthday on a Sunday afternoon. We parked at St. Ignatius and took a stroll through the campus to get to Heck’s. Maggie thought we were late and tried sprinting through. I cut her off and got down on one knee. Maggie was completely shocked and kept asking "Are you messing with me?" It took her a few seconds but she said "YES" and moments later, all of the Schramms and Hopkins came running out of the building and joined in the celebration. We're so excited and grateful to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
