WELL, If you know the both of us, you know it's hard for us to not be doing something crazy, or spontaneous. To all our type A friends that have been waiting for details - we love you! We met at URI, which is a story to share after a few drinks but the word "boujee" defines the time. Nic was in flight school at the time, and our second date was spent up in the sky, they even let Steph fly the plane (dangerous). We were dating for two months and the end of senior year was coming up. URI gives you a week before finals to study, go to office-hours, etc. But we had recently discovered that on skyscanner.com, you can enter your departure destination, and click "everywhere" as your arrival spot - such a better way to spend this time ;). Next thing we knew, we were leaving for Iceland in 2 weeks. Iceland is where we became "officially boyfriend & girlfriend" after hiking the Skógafoss waterfalls. This trip sparked our love for each other, traveling, and doing crazy things! After we graduated, we went on a 2-month backpacking trip across Europe & Asia. Our first stop was Paris, which is where we first said "I love you" to each other, at an amazing rooftop restaurant with views of the Eiffel Tower... if that sounds expensive for two recent college grads, it was... and when we got the bill...there's another story you'll have to travel to Italy to hear! 7 years later, we were back in Paris - and got engaged with the exact same view as when we first said I love you <3 After we got engaged in Paris, we accidentally ended up in Capri, Italy. We fell in LOVE with it here. We spent everyday floating in the ocean at Marina Piccola, having a sunset picnic at Lido di Faro, eating margherita pizza's in Anacapri, and wandering around the Gardens of Augustus in Capri. It was such a magical place we felt like we had to get married here, and we're excited for our closest friends and family to experience that magic!
