Our story started back in 2021 with a simple introduction at a house party that turned into hours of conversation and a lot of laughs. From that very first meeting, we knew there was something special. Since then, we’ve shared countless memories, road trips, spontaneous adventures, and so many moments that have brought us closer together. What started as an unexpected meeting soon turned into a love that has shaped our lives in the best way. In October of 2024, Austin planned a beautiful surprise proposal with the help of our closest friends on Washington Island in Door County, at the top of the Mountain Park Lookout Tower. Funny enough, two years earlier while taking silly pictures together in that very same spot, Austin jokingly “fake proposed.” Since that memorable trip, Door County has become a special place for us, and we’ve made it a tradition to visit every year since we met. Little did we know that moment would one day turn into the real thing. Surrounded by the stunning fall colors, in a place that holds such special memories, he got down on one knee and asked the question, and of course it was the easiest yes! We are so excited to begin this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate our forever with all of our family and friends!
