Kelly and Josh met during their junior year at the University of Minnesota. What started as nervous conversations walking back from class eventually blossomed into a few casual dates. Josh was head over heels, but Kelly had a study abroad trip to Argentina that took priority, and she made the call to put a pause on the relationship. Josh was understandably crushed – he had just met the girl of his dreams and in a flash, it was over… Until one night near the end of their senior year, Josh walked into the “back bar” of Blarney’s, the main bar at the U of M, and saw Kelly again. A second chance was right in front of him, and this time, there were no study abroad trips standing in his way. They went on their second first date, and Josh, with his super strong social skills, bombarded Kelly with questions for almost five hours. He also got a parking ticket that night and played it off as if it "happens all the time".... Needless to say, Kelly was on the fence about another date, but with some convincing from her friends (thank you Erin and Keighly), she obliged. From there, Kelly and Josh’s relationship took off. They quickly formed an inseparable bond until Kelly’s SLP graduate program took her to Chicago. Josh “coincidentally” found a job in Chicago a few months later so they could live in the same city. With each brunch, walk around the city, dinner, and “J&K Day of Fun”, they fell more in love with each other. While they now live in NYC, Chicago has always been the bedrock of their relationship. This brings us to the big moment - Kelly and Josh are so excited to share this beautiful day with friends and family to commemorate the wonderful and winding journey their relationship has taken. - Josh & Kelly
