Meghan and Matt are both from the Rochester area. However, Meghan spent about 10 years in South Carolina so she hadn't been a familiar face in the Rochester night life scene. Meghan caught Matt's eye when she walked into a local bar one night. The two started dating shortly after that night and were inseparable. Six months into their relationship, they knew they were perfect for each other.

Matt asked Meghan how she pictured her dream proposal. Meghan stressed that her family is the most important part of her life and that she wanted them there in some way or another to celebrate with her. Matt ran with this and decided to throw a surprise for Meghan. It was a magical night with family and friends that will never be forgotten.
