What is the dress code for The Night Before?

Answer

The Night Before is meant to be a relaxed, casual welcome—especially for those who’ve been traveling. Please feel free to dress comfortably and casually. We’ll likely be in something like jeans and a sweater ourselves! We hope to see you there!

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome at our wedding. We do want to share, however, that our reception will be a romantic, candlelit dinner rather than a lively dance party. Since it will be a quieter, more formal evening, please keep in mind that it may not be the most entertaining environment for little ones.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to wear black attire and contribute to the elegant look of the day, but please know this is not a black-tie wedding. Whether you choose black jeans or black dress pants, we encourage you to dress in a way that feels comfortable and celebratory. Feel free to choose an all-black ensemble or pair black bottoms with a white or other colored dress shirt—just please refrain from wearing white dresses.

Where do we park at Hotel Morgan?

Answer

Parking in Morgantown can be challenging due to the hilly streets and the busy nature of the college town, but there are several convenient options near Hotel Morgan: Hotel Morgan Valet: $15 for the day or $20 for overnight parking. Lot C (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505): Located across the street from Hotel Morgan (2-minute walk). $0.75/hour, but time is limited to 10 hours. Spruce Street Parking Garage (300 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505): A 6-minute walk from Hotel Morgan. $0.75/hour with 24-hour parking available. Street Parking: Limited availability and often restricted to 2 hours. Often payable using the ParkMobile app. We recommend valet or one of the nearby lots/garages for the easiest experience.
