Sarah and Scott started dating in the spring of 2017 after being introduced through a mutual friend (thanks Alli!). They got more acquainted after Sarah invited Scott for a dog-walk along the coastal trail near Point Woronzof, and Sarah's dog, Oscar, met Scott's dog, Otter. Sarah and Scott hit things off a little more than the dogs did, but they eventually became fast friends. Sarah soon had to leave for a long summer working out on the ocean studying birds and fish. Between trips, they were able to see each other back in Anchorage. During those short interim periods they spent time together discovering their shared love for nature, friends, and all life has to offer. After a few months of dating they decided to move in together and make a home. A little more than a year later, Scott proposed to Sarah on the same beach where they had taken their first walk together. Sarah said "yes!" and here we are. We couldn't be happier to celebrate our love for each other with all our closest friends and family in our favorite place on earth! Thank you all for joining us!
