Our Story

It's hard to choose one photo and one line to represent each year we have been together because we have experienced so much joy and life as a couple!
We started dating in October 2016 after a mutual friend set us up. This was our first photo together at a Wisconsin Badgers hockey game!
In 2017, we enjoyed meeting each other's families, attending friend's weddings together, and getting to know each other!
2018 was filled with hiking, national and international travel, and Chris starting his Master's degree! This photo was taken in Banff, Canada.
In 2019, we traveled to Mexico and moved in to our first apartment together in Madison, WI!
In 2020, we enjoyed exploring Madison and even took a small road trip around the state of Wisconsin. Chris graduated with his Master's and Erin quit her job at Epic! We ended the year with COVID, spending our first Christmas together as a couple.
2021 was challenging, but made us stronger as a couple. Erin moved to Baltimore for nursing school, and we had a long-distance relationship for 6 months until Chris moved too!
2022 was another big year! We explored Baltimore and Maryland, attended more weddings, and moved to Chapel Hill, NC together after Erin graduated with her Master's!
We love exploring together, and 2023 was no exception! We hiked and camped all over our new state of North Carolina.
2024 was the biggest and best year yet! We bought our first home together, became aunt and uncle, and got engaged!
That brings us to 2025! We are so excited to celebrate with you in October, and to continue on this journey called life together. <3
