The 3rd Street Market Hall has a great variety of local food vendors and plenty of things to do. Activities include Top Golf, Shuffleboard, Bags and a Gaming Lounge with both retro and modern video games. There's also a large bar with lots of Wisconsin beers to try. Conveniently located right down the street from the Hilton City Center (our hotel block)!
Our favorite local brewery, and not just because we had our first date there! They have some of the best tasting beers in Milwaukee. We will have some Third Space beer at the wedding bar, but we also recommend stopping by to check out their awesome space!
A popular Milwaukee staple! The Milwaukee Public Market is stocked with many unique food vendors. A great spot for a weekend lunch, everyone in your group will find something they enjoy. We recommend St. Paul Fish Company's lobster rolls and West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe's Bloody Mary!
The largest antique mall in southeastern Wisconsin and our favorite spot to dig around for timeless treasures. As you might know, both of us have our own vintage fixations/collections. If you want the full Schober/Davies Milwaukee experience, we suggest exploring this vintage wonderland. There are over 100 dealers, each with their own vibe. You can find anything from midcentury modern decor and rare records to antique valuables and ancient artifacts!
The Milwaukee Art Museum is a work of art in and of itself! The sculptural entrance to the building, Quadracci Pavilion, was designed by world renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. The white "wings" of the building open and close each day. Even if you don't spend a whole day at the museum, it's stunning to stop by and watch the building transform! Museum hours are from 10am-5pm Friday-Sunday. The museum's "wings" open at 10am every day. At 12pm they close and reopen again. Finally at 5pm the museum rests it's wings and they close until the next morning.
Kinnikinnic Avenue is the main street in our beloved Bay View neighborhood! A great place to spend an aimless afternoon, this street is stocked with unique local restaurants, coffee shops, small businesses, boutiques and bars. We recommend taking a stroll and stopping in a place or two that catch your eye!
