We met on Aug 11th, 2018. Marelly just arrived at Regent University, and she saw Joshua walking out of Cafe Moka on campus. Joshua, in that moment, thought "this girl is someone that I'd like to know better." One day, on Jan 30th, 2019, we all went out to eat at Pho 79 with a group of friends, and Marelly decided to drive back to campus with Joshua. During this time, Marelly asked Joshua many questions, and one of them was: "Joshua, what are your plans after you graduate this semester?". And Joshua answered, "I will be continuing my master's degree in Italy". With this answer, Marelly knew that Joshua was not an option. However, Joshua started to fall in love with her, and two months before he graduates, he decides to confess his love to her. And here we are, 4 years later, on an island in the Caribbean, making our vows to each other, in front of God, our families, and best of friends.
