FAQs

If you have any further questions not listed here, feel free to reach out!
Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Stone Chalet, 1917 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 3:30pm as the ceremony will be starting at 4:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While you do not have to go all out we would still like to maintain a relatively formal atmosphere. We have settled on the semi-formal dress code. Please visit https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal for ideas and inspiration and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Please refrain from wearing jeans, hats, and shades of white and light purple.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have meticulously planned for the exact number of guests. Please do not bring anyone not listed on your invite. If you have a line listed "Guest", you may bring an individual of your choice with you. If you believe there was an error, please let us know.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have elected to have an adults only ceremony and reception. Please do not bring anyone not listed on your invite.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend using our room block, linked in the Hotel Room Block tab above.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you are able, but by June 5th at the latest.

Question

Will there be an open or cash bar?

Answer

Our wedding will have an open bar serving pop, sparkling juice, beer, and wine.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We want to accomodate our guests as best as we are able. Please note this in your RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue unfortunately does not have parking available on site. The surrounding streets are residential parking but the venue has an exception for street parking regardless of posted signage. If you are concerned about parking, we are happy to talk through it prior to the day, just let us know!
