Maid of Honor
Mary Zelinski is Angela's cousin, faith inspiration, and favorite impressionist. At almost every sleepover (and there were many), Mary and Angela would stay up talking about what their weddings would be like, who they would marry, and of course how they would be eachother's maid of honor. The day is finally here!
Matthew Schmitt
Best Man
Matthew Schmitt is Michael's oldest brother and his transmission mechanic. Matthew played an indispensable role in bringing Michael back to the Catholic faith through his actions, prayers, and trust in God. It was Matthew that introduced Michael to Angela after the Easter Vigil at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and it's a blessing to have him stand up as the best man in our wedding.
Laura Ladhoff
Bridesmaid
Laura and Angela have been friends since 6th grade, after Laura told her that she wasn't allowed to sit next to her on the bus. This funny foundation turned into a life long friendship based in sarcasm and Taco Bell. Laura is one of the reasons this wedding is happening. Her and her husband were Angela's ride to the Easter Vigil party, and patiently waited 3 hours while Angela and Michael talked. Thanks Laura (:
Nathan Schmitt
Groomsman
Nathan Schmitt is Michael's older brother. They spent a lot of time together in the mountains of West Virginia while surviving mostly on Little Caesars Hot N Ready's and movie theater popcorn. Nate is a man of great faith and an outstanding husband, son, brother, and father to his twins. However, he has developed a questionable golf swing and would love any and all tips at the wedding that would lower his score.
Kyle Shannahan
Usher
Kyle is Angela's brother, and a recent member of the Detroit Fire Department! He has practiced the fireman carry on Michael, so if anyone goes down during the ceremony--Kyle will save the day. He is tall and well versed at directing crowds, so when it comes to instruction don't be afraid to look for Kyle.
Brett Shannahan
Usher
Brett is Angela's youngest brother, and he is not only a charmer but the most likely to help any person he meets. He is incredibly talented on guitar, so if we're lucky he'll give us a taste at the reception. If you need help crossing any streets, look for this nice tall young man!
