Travel Note
Fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), it's our local airport and the easiest way in. It's a short Uber or drive to downtown Bozeman. If you're flying out of the Bay Area, SFO has direct flights to Bozeman. Flying out of SJC will likely mean a layover through Salt Lake City. We're in the Mountain Time Zone, so double check your flights and set your clocks accordingly.
Rental Car
You won't need one for the wedding itself, shuttles will run between the Kimpton Armory Hotel and the venue on the wedding day. But if you want to explore before or after, car rentals are available right at the airport. Summer is a busy time for car rentals in the Yellowstone area, booking ahead is ideal if you do want to rent a car!

Bozeman is a walkable, charming college town, you can spend a great afternoon wandering Main Street, popping into local shops, and stopping for coffee or a bite. A car is only necessary if you're planning day trips outside of town.

Bozeman sits at about 4,820 feet, so if you're coming from sea level, don't be surprised if you're a little more winded on a hike or need extra water than usual. Stay hydrated, pace yourself, and maybe skip the third cocktail until you've acclimated. Ibuprofen and electrolytes are never a bad idea to help acclimate.

Montana summers are gorgeous but unpredictable. Hot and sunny one hour, thunderstorms and rain the next. Pack layers, sunscreen, and a little flexibility. Thunderstorms still stay pretty warm but plan for a little bit of a cool down here and there.
