What is the dress code?
Answer
Strictly formal with black tie optional. Jewel tones are heavily encouraged (think ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green, etc.). Please no jeans, tee shirts, ball caps, etc.

Are children welcome?
Answer
We love your kids, but our wedding will not be child friendly and children will not be welcome. We hope we can find time in the near future to spend quality time together with you and your kids outside of our wedding!

Do I have a plus one?
Answer
We are intentionally keeping our wedding small. Those invited will be listed on your invitation.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! We recommend that you book at the beautiful Yorktowne Hotel, which is only a 2 block walk from our venue. You can safely walk back to your room after partying hard, and in the morning there are plenty of wonderful brunch spots within a block's walking distance. We do not have a block of rooms due to hotel minimums for room blocks. Please note that the Yorktowne books up very quickly, especially during the holiday season, we recommend that you book as early as possible.

Where should I park?
Answer
The 3 parking garages listed below are in operation Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. Parking garage rates are in effect if you enter the garage during this time. From 5pm-8am, there will be a flat fee of $2.00 for the evening/night. If you enter the garage on Saturday, December 6th and leave by Sunday, December 7th, parking is free. The parking garages are located at the following addresses: Philadelphia St. Garage *this garage is the closest to the venue* – 25 W. Philadelphia St., York PA 17401 (Across from the Appel Center) Market St. Garage *this garage is closest to the Yorktowne Hotel – 41 E. Market St., York PA 17401 (Across from the York County Administration Center) King St. Garage – 15 W. King St., York PA 17401 (Across from the York City Police Department) Please note that Friday, December 5th, is the York City tree lighting ceremony. If you plan to arrive on Friday please allow extra time to drive and park. There will be road closures during this time.
