Your two options for airports are Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami (MIA). Obviously, Miami is closer to the port (7 miles) and will likely be a cheaper Uber. If you are coming into FLL, please let Whitney know at Schlickw11@gmail.com. If enough people are flying into FLL, she will look into transportation options (IE: renting a van to transport people)
Technically no. While you can cruise with your government issued ID AND your birth certificate, it's much easier to just carry a passport. If you choose to travel with government issued ID and birth certificate, please note that the birth certificate must be the ORIGINAL and not a copy, and must also be the birth certificate issued by the state (not the hospital). You will potentially have to wait in a longer line getting on and off the ship if you choose to use a drivers license and birth certificate. This is because Customs takes a longer time to review your identification. If you would like to apply for a passport, the process can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/fees.html
It includes: -Your cabin with twice a day service -All of your food (breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, sit down breakfast and dinner, 24/7 pizza and sandwichs, 24/7 ice cream etc.) It's all you can eat -NON-alcoholic drinks: water, tea, lemonade, juice, coffee, and hot cocoa. -Entertainment: shows, karaoke, contests, flowrider etc. A note about the main dining room: The main dining room serves dinner "fancy" style- cloth napkins, selection of appetizer, main course & dessert from a menu etc. You must be "appropriately" dressed. This typically means nicer shorts with polo or similar. Likely, the second evening of the cruise will be "formal" night. This means stepping up your dressing game. For males: khakis and a nice shirt. For females: a nicer sun dress. All guests booked under the group reservation will have "My Time" dining, meaning you can visit the main dining room whenever you'd like. However, if you don't feel like getting dressy, you can ALWAYS eat in the buffet.
Alcohol is not included in your cruise fare. But you have a few options: 1. Royal Caribbean allows up to two bottles of wine to be carried on per stateroom. Red wine, White wine, or champagne. 2. You can purchase a beverage package. The beverage package options are as follows: A. Soda Package: $47.15 per person for the length of the trip. B. Deluxe Beverage Package: includes unlimited alcoholic drinks, soda, specialty coffees. Must purchase for the whole length of the cruise. If one person in your cabin purchases this package, everyone over 21 in your cabin must also purchase the package. Cost is $236 per person for the whole cruise. Please note this will be higher if you wait to purchase on board. Drink limit is $12 per transaction. 3. Pay per each drink. Cost of an American beer is roughly $8. A frozen drink is around $12. Wine $8-40
That is up to you! Please note, you DON'T have to get off the ship if you don't want to.. CoCo Cay- is the cruiseline's private island. Here, they provide 5 different eating locations, 5 different beaches, multiple bars including a swim up bar, pools, lounge chairs etc. There are also activities you can pay for on the island such as a water park. If you end up getting a drink package, it can be used on this island. Nassau Bahamas - You can travel to Atlantis, visit and relax on the free beaches, shop the straw market, sample fresh chocolate at the chocolate factory, or visit the distillery. There are some excursions through the cruiseline as well.
90 days before sailing, you will need to fill out some "cruise documents" and check in. You can do this by going to "Manage my booking" on Royal Caribbeans website, and typing in your booking ID. This paperwork will allow you to set up an onboard expense account (if you wish), print your cruise luggage tags, and print your boarding pass. You can also book drink packages and excursions this way if you wish.
