From Marlee’s perspective: my mom is my absolute everything. I aspire to be just as incredible as she is in every way. She’s a perfect mom, wife, chef, crafter. I plan to try and take after her in many ways and bring these elements into my marriage!
Kelly
Maid of Honor
Marlee met Kelly in pre-k. Kelly just moved from Canada and was the new girl in class. The class at that time only had two girls (including Marlee!). Marlee claims she remembers their meeting perfectly; Kelly was building a tower so Marlee walked over and wanted to join, and that’s how the friendship was born! Marlee and Kelly grew up together and share a lot of special memories. From camps like EXPLO, to BBYO, and being lucky enough to live in NYC for a couple months together before COVID hit, they share so many special times. Marlee is excited to have Kelly standing next to her on her wedding day, and all the memories to come!
Danielle
Maid of Honor
Marlee and Danielle met at the University of Florida in 2013. Marlee met Danielle in her sorority, Phi Mu. They clicked very quickly and Danielle became Marlee’s little. They were pretty much inseparable and did everything together. Marlee lived with Danielle her senior year of college, which is still one of her most favorite years of her life. Even though their college days are over, they still talk multiple times a week!
Sierra
Bridesmaid
Marlee met Sierra at the start of 9th grade. They were in many classes together and both joined BBYO. Their friendship blossomed quickly and they became practically inseparable! They had a lot of classes in high school together, and we usually sat next to each other. During parent teacher night, Marlee’s mom and Sierra’s mom sat next to one another and got in trouble from the teacher for talking. When the teacher figured out they they were our moms, she rolled her eyes and said “I should have known, like mother like daughter”. Marlee and Sierra have a lot of memories together. One of Marlee’s favorite memories with Sierra is going to Costa Rica together!
Nichole
Bridesmaid
Nichole and Marlee met in optometry school! They both lived in Astoria, Queens, which is what originally made them friends. Their bond grew closer when they both realized they wanted to explore and do fun things, so they did them together! Then the boyfriends met which added a whole other fun element! They have so many great NYC memories together and Marlee is excited to create a new Florida memory together on her wedding day!
Victoria
Bridesmaid
Victoria and Marlee instantly clicked—even though she was on her first date with her now boyfriend Zach when they met! Marlee loves to tell the story of how they met—definitely ask her about it sometime. It was such a treat that every time Marlee went to visit Schlaky that she also got to see her bff Victoria in Philadelphia. There have been SO many fun times and double dates and Marlee and Brandon can’t wait for many more now that they are staying in the Philly area!
