Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding with all the craziness of the world right now! There have been a lot of ups and downs with planning this wedding and all of its changes. We have come to the decision to continue with our wedding celebration this year.. at a NEW VENUE! We are now having our wedding at The Round Barn Farm Event Center in Red Wing, MN. We have followed state guidelines and decreased our number of guests, which has been very difficult for the both of us and appreciate everyone understanding the circumstances. We are taking many safety precautions (listed in the FAQs) to make sure all guests are safe and comfortable! The website shows all new info including new hotel options, registry info and FAQs! We appreciate all of your support throughout these unknown times and cannot wait to share our day with all of you, whether thats through pictures or in person!
It was the first day of classes at Winona State University for the happy couple. Zach was a sophomore who just transferred from Taylor University, and Danielle was a freshman. Through mutual friends, they had met to walk together for their 8am class the very first day! The rest.... HISTORY!
It was a beautiful friday afternoon in Zach’s hometown of St. Charles, Illinois. Zach had planned a hammock date with Danielle in a park. So, they set up the hammock next to a beautiful pavillion! After some time swinging in the hammock, Zach asked Danielle to dance in the pavillion. Now this act was not out of the ordinary for these two.. they are always dancing together in public places. After the dance was done, Zach backed up and pulled the ring out of his pocket! Little did Danielle know, Logan (Zach’s brother) was hiding in the bushes, taking pictures! But the story isn’t over yet.... after proposing, Zach took Danielle back to the hammock and grabbed his computer! He started to play a video of Danielle’s whole family and close friends saying congratulations to them. Needless to say... Danielle was the happiest she had ever been, crying tears of joy and feeling on top of the world!
