Flight
Flagstaff has just 4 flights a day (to and from PHX) and is a bit more expensive than flying into Phoenix. American Airlines is the only airline that has flights into FLG. There are times when the price to fly into FLG is not much more expensive, so you should check flights just in case.
Flight
Flights in Phoenix will be cheaper than flying into Flagstaff and as a bonus, the drive through the desert up to Flag is really lovely! Rental cars are necessary to get up the hill to Flag, its about a 2.5hr drive.
House Or Rental
For lodging we would recommend finding an AirBNB or a VRBO. Since Flag is a vacation destination, there are many great places to rent all around town.
Hotel
If you will be staying in a hotel, one downtown is a great place to start! Anything downtown will be within walking distance to Root and give you an opportunity to explore our small and historic city.
