Pismo Beach (where we live) has a lovely beach, pier, shops, restaurants, & bike rentals. Take a surf lesson if you’re feeling brave 🏄‍♂️
Avila Beach
Avila Beach is a cute little beach town that’s great for kids! It offers restaurants & wine/beer tasting, as well as the Avila Barn, the Bob Jones bike trail, & hot springs.
Morro Bay
Morro Bay is a quaint beach town, home to the famous Morro Rock! The Embarcadero is lined with shops, restaurants (great seafood), art galleries, & opportunities for kayaking, paddle boarding, & whale watching.
Paso Robles
Paso Robles is home to world famous vineyards & a historic downtown. If you visit the area early in the week, be sure to check out the art installation Sensario!
Hearst Castle
If you want a peak at the bygone days of the obscenely rich, Hearst Castle is worth a visit! Hearst’s appreciation for global history shows in his magnificent home. You might also catch a glimpse of a zebra on the tram ride up! Catch the Elephant Seals a bit further north up the 1.
