Welcome Drinks will be held on the Mangrove Deck (outdoors!) at the Wyndham. Feel free to dress as you'd like - use a nice dinner or night out as reference. Jackets/ties and dresses are not required, but feel free to wear them if you'd like! Our suggestion for the wedding ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. Cocktail-length dresses and suits without ties are totally acceptable, but you won't be out of place in a longer dress or a suit with jacket and tie.
We really like some of the restaurants located next to our wedding venue (all within ~5 minutes of the Wyndham): U-Tiki Beach, Guanabana's, Lucky Shucks, Topside at the Beacon and Square Grouper are all great options along the inlet. The Woods and Tommy Bahama are great options right next to the hotel. If you're interested in venturing a bit further, Cafe Chardonnay, Limoncello and Ke'e Grille offer more traditional upscale dining and are places our families enjoy visiting when we are in town.
A shuttle will be available from the Wyndham starting around 4:15 PM on Saturday. The round trip time to and from the venue is about 15 minutes, so the shuttle will make multiple trips to ensure all guests arrive in time for the ceremony. Plan on the last pre-ceremony shuttle leaving the Wyndham around 4:45 PM. There is plenty of parking available at the Pelican Club if you choose to drive, and Ubers are available in the area.
Unfortunately the Wyndham has not reopened their restaurant since COVID, so sit-down breakfast will not be available at the hotel. There are many grab-and-go options nearby, including Subculture Coffee in Harbourside Place within walking distance of the Wyndham and Crux Coffee Roasters near the Marriott in Abacoa.
