When should I RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP by August 29th by responding online through the RSVP page.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Kindly arrive early enough to be seated by 3:45 pm. Guests unable to arrive by this time are respectfully asked to wait until after 4:30 pm to arrive to avoid disrupting the ceremony, which takes place near the parking area. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that guests wear cocktail attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting), so please dress accordingly. The reception will take place indoors, but there will also be a fire pit and other outdoor amenities to enjoy throughout the evening. Outdoor areas consist mostly of gravel and grass, so we recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable and suitable for both soft and uneven surfaces—and of course, perfect for dancing the night away!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

The ceremony and reception address is 14842 Burbank Road, Burbank, OH 44214. NOTE: The venue is set back from the road and may not be immediately visible. A sign will be placed at the entrance to help guide you. Upon parking, you'll see signage directing you to where the ceremony will take place.

Per venue guidelines, our celebration will wrap up at 10:00 PM—we’re looking forward to making the most of every moment with you!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Medina. To receive the discounted rate, please book by September 4th. You can use the direct booking link on the 'Travel' page or mention the Schieb/Higgins wedding when booking by phone.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during our ceremony. We've hired a professional photographer to capture every moment, so you can relax, be present, and enjoy this special time with us.

What type of food will be served?

Dinner will be served buffet-style and will include a selection of BBQ dishes prepared by Gridirne Cookery.

Due to limited space, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. Each invitation includes the name(s) of the guest(s) invited. We’re so excited to celebrate this special day with our closest loved ones.
