We’re Getting Married!

This was the day Aaron messaged Cassidy on Instagram after seeing her out at a party at Cassidy’s Matron of Honor (Becca) and Aaron’s Groomsman’s (Ben) house. We talked every day since that first message and Aaron had to wait 2 weeks to officially take me out on a date because I had Covid. Our first date was at the Griffon Gastropub in Lewiston before it moved locations, we spent all night talking and getting to know each other. We officially started dating February 6th, 2022 when Aaron asked me to be his girlfriend while we were in Ellicottville. Once I said “yes” to being Aaron’s girlfriend he said “write it in the history books!”

We took a winter vacation to Arizona to stay with Aaron’s family for a week and then to explore Sedona the next week. Seven days after our two year anniversary and one day before Valentine’s Day we went on an all day tour to the Grand Canyon. Aaron secretly brought the ring in his book bag and also got our tour guide (shout out to Ed) in on the surprise. Ed helped Aaron pick the perfect spot at the edge of the Grand Canyon to propose. Of course I said “YES!”. He picked the most perfect ring and the perfect place for us to say yes to forever. Most beautiful view and the best day of our lives thus far.
