As they are both physical therapists, Hunter & Chloe met toward the end of 2021 after joining the same company, ActivePT. Hunter in Rochester and Chloe in Mankato, MN. Hunter was hired just six weeks before Chloe, and their paths first crossed at a company event. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight, at least not for Chloe, but Hunter will tell you he immediately noticed her and even asked a coworker who she was. As time went on, their friendship grew. The following summer, they began to realize how much they had in common, a love for traveling, golfing, enjoying good food and cocktails, and spending time with the people who mean the most to them. In true Hunter fashion, he took his time officially asking Chloe to be his girlfriend. While Chloe already knew where her heart stood, Hunter finally asked the question in March 2023. For a year, they navigated long distance between Mankato and Rochester before Chloe moved to Rochester in August 2024. Since then, they’ve enjoyed building a life together, full of fun times, shared routines, and new adventures. In September 2025, Hunter and Chloe traveled to Ireland with Hunter's parents, his sister Alli, and brother-in-law Bryce. After many plans falling through, Hunter's mom carrying around the engagement ring for 5 days, and Hunter waiting for the perfect moment, he got down on one knee asking Chloe to marry him. The best part was, nothing got ruined and Chloe didn't pick up on anything leading up to that moment. She said yes! Together, they’ve traveled to the Czech Republic, Alaska, Washington and Oregon, Australia, Florida, and Ireland. They love visiting Hunter’s family in Alexandria, MN, especially during the summer months at the lake. Whether golfing, hiking, exploring local breweries and wineries, or relaxing with friends, they find joy simply in being together. Now, Hunter and Chloe are beyond excited to bring all of their loved ones together to celebrate their story, the laughter, the adventures, and the love that brought them here, as they begin their next chapter as husband and wife. They can't wait to celebrate with you in Stillwater on December 4, 2026!
