We met at Ciccarelli’s on a Friday night. I was out with my girlfriends, Alex was with some of the guys. Alex started at On The Dunes in Commerce, then traveled back to The Hub to continue the party but it was dead. He and his one friend decided to try one more place before calling it a night, hence, Ciccarelli’s! When the dance floor opened, I saw Alex and got him to come join us. We then got to talking; he asked if he could buy me a drink, I said he could buy me a water(he’ll never let me live that down). We started chatting it up and got to know each other, he kissed me, exchanged snapchats, and went on with our night separately. A couple days later I told him it was nice meeting him but wasn’t ready to pursue. The next night I had a dream about him and knew I couldn’t let that go to waste. I reached out to him saying to forget what I said, and I wanted to see him. Our first date was the next evening, and the rest is history! We are so thankful that The Hub was dead that one night because if it wasn’t, our paths could’ve never crossed!

Two and a half years into our relationship the question was popped! It was New Year’s Eve, so we were going to go out on the town for the day before our friend’s NYE party. We started doing some shopping, then had lunch at Boston’s, where we had our first date 2.5 years prior(we hadn’t been back since our first date). We wanted to go to one more place to get a drink; Partridge Creek. Kristina joined us, then as we were leaving the bar, she asked if we could get a picture by the big Christmas Tree. We start heading there and Alex pulls me aside and says all the right things to me before getting down on one knee. He asks me to be his wife in front of the lit up tree, of course I said yes! Then we went to party with our friends to celebrate the perfect way to enter 2025!
