What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We plan to start the ceremony at 5pm. You can arrive half past four.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: Cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, dark suits and ties, dress pants, dress shirts.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place outside. The reception will be in a covered barn that will have standing heaters.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We can’t guarantee anything here. This is Georgia and it’s possible it will be warm. Average temps for the area range between 41-60 degrees.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

Guest will arrive around 4:30. Ceremony at 5. Cocktail hour 5:30-6 Dinner and reception to follow

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Tacos will be served Cocktail hour will consist of beer and wine Sweet tea, water and lemonade will be available

Yes, but tips for our favorite bartender are greatly appreciated!

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes. We have blocks available at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Canton location. Mention you are with The Schell Wedding.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We want an unplugged ceremony and ask that you let the photographer capture our special moment. You are more than welcome to take pictures during the reception and post them. We ask you hashtag them with #schellwegetmarried or #schellyeah so we can also view your candid shots!

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
