Gather round kids as I spin you the tale of Nancy Fossgreen's last hunt. It all started in the summer of 2015 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Cameron had just finished his second year at Northern Arizona University and Nancy had just transferred up from Cochise Community College in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Cameron was working for NAU during the summer doing landscaping for Residence Life Support Services (RLSS) which is where he met Nancy's brother, Sean, who was a team lead for one of the grounds crew. As this was summer in Northern Arizona, creek trips were one of the things to do with the RLSS crew. It was on one of these creek trips that Nancy and Cameron first met. It was not love at first sight, Nancy's first sentence to him was incredibly dumb and Nancy thought Cameron looked like a tool. But, on that same trip, the moment of magic happened. As Cameron was getting ready to cliff jump he looked down at Nancy, gave such a genuine, goofy smile, and Nancy thought, "oh. I'm gonna make that man mine." Cameron jumped, oblivious to what he'd put in motion in Nancy and how impactful this woman would be in his life. She did succeed in hunting down his heart, bit of an obvious end to the story of her last hunt but how do you sum up the adventures and misadventures of dating? Throughout the rest of college they dated and moved in together in 2018 when Cameron got into Physical Therapy school in Glendale. They managed to survive three years of living together without killing each other and managed to stumble across and adopt a Maltese-Poodle they named Sophie after one of their favorite movies, Howl's Moving Castle. Cameron proposed to Nancy on September 18, 2021 at 11,500 feet at the top of Mount Humphreys in Flagstaff, Arizona.
