When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please be sure to reply by the RSVP date listed on your invitation. We must provide a guest count to our venue and vendors in advance. Don't miss out!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we’re only able to accommodate guests specifically listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, they’ll appear on your RSVP.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love kids and are excited to celebrate with some of the little ones in our lives! Due to venue capacity, however, we’re not able to invite all children. If your child is invited, they will be listed by name on your invitation and RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 3:30 so you have plenty of time to park, walk to the ceremony site, and get settled. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Nestldown has free parking. We highly recommend carpooling if possible. Ride sharing like Uber and Lyft is not a reliable source for departure in the evening. The winding and dark roads tend to be a deterrent for most Uber and Lyft drivers.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Los Gatos, Saratoga, or nearby Campbell. A few of our favorite options, all within a convenient drive of Nestldown, are listed on the Travel page. AAA/AARP: Discounted rates may be available for AAA and AARP members. Be sure to check the hotel's member rate when booking. We recommend booking early, especially since our wedding is on a Friday!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Fingers crossed the weather cooperates! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will all take place outdoors, with dancing to follow in the barn. If it rains, we’ll move the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner indoors, so we’ll have a backup plan ready to go either way.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there’s no specific dress code, we’ll be dressed up and hope you will be too! Cocktail or semi-formal is appropriate for our venue. Think cocktail or elegant dresses and jumpsuits, or a suit with a jacket or sport coat. Jeans, shorts, and white dresses are not appropriate. Because our celebration will take place partly outdoors, we highly recommend comfortable shoes for outdoor terrain—stilettos are not recommended. You’re also welcome to bring a pair of sandals to change into for the dance floor! April in Los Gatos is warm during the day and cool in the evening, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket to cover bare shoulders after the sun goes down. You may also want to bring sunglasses for our outdoor ceremony, which will take place around golden hour.

Will there be food for dietary restrictions?

We’re happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please let us know when you RSVP so we can make arrangements with our catering team.

For guests who need assistance with hills or stairs due to mobility concerns, a 5-passenger golf cart will be available.

Are there any venue rules I should know about?

Answer

Nestldown is a beautiful and carefully maintained property, and we’d appreciate everyone helping us take care of it! Please stay on designated paths, do not pick flowers or fruit, and keep drinks and trash in designated areas. Shoes must be worn at all times, and only service animals are permitted for guests. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the designated smoking area. Please note that Nestldown has a strict no-drone policy. Most importantly, please treat the Nestldown staff with the same kindness and respect you’d show any of our other guests. ❤️
