Originally, we thought we had met for the first time online through Plenty Of Fish. However, back in 1996, we raced each other in the Pamper Scampers crawling race at Rutherford Mall.

Going back to the place of our first date, we took our dogs for a walk at Jack Point on February 29th, 2020. During the walk with a beautiful view of the Nanaimo harbour, Johnathan got down on one knee and asked Chandra to marry him. Naturally Chandra responded with "You son of a bitch, I'm in!"
