Maids Of Honor
If you know me, you probably already know these three incredible women. We’ve been best friends since childhood (Hannah literally declared it on the first day of 6th grade!). We were even voted “Best Group of Friends” in our senior yearbook. Our bond was built in late-night sleepovers at Hannah’s house playing spin the bottle and plotting toilet paper missions, or in Paige’s basement sneaking alcohol and listening to our favorite music. But it hasn’t always been parties and playlists. We’ve weathered breakups, grief, and heartbreak together too. We’ve cried in each other’s arms, sat in silence when that was all we needed, and found comfort simply in knowing we weren’t alone. Those are the moments that truly shaped this friendship—the ones that made it unshakable. Each of these women brings something so special to my life: Hannah - planner, the romantic, can make anything fun and magical Paige - fellow Cancer & emotional rock Fran - the mom of the group and the ultimate hype girl We all take turns being the comedian, the caretaker, and the support system and talk every single day in our group chat. I made all three of them Maids of Honor because these women are my soul sisters & most consistent people in my life. They’ve shown up for me in ways no one else has, and I can’t imagine saying “I do” without them right there beside me.
Best Man & Groomsman
Yan – Best Man (pictured) Sage met Yan in high school at a party, and they instantly connected—bonding over their shared European backgrounds and a knack for getting into the occasional bit of trouble (including the infamous time Yan stole beer from Kroger after a shift). Yan is a little more reserved, but he’s always been a loyal and steady friend. Their friendship has stood the test of time, from high school through military deployments and marriage. Sage had the honor of being Yan’s best man when he married his high school sweetheart, Olivia, and even looked out for her while Yan was stationed in South Korea. It means the world to Sage to now have Yan return the honor as his Best Man. Michael – Groomsman Sage met Michael in college, though both of them went to high school in Dublin, Ohio. Michael’s always down for a good time and is especially known for his signature party move: the Rumpelstiltskin—where he smashes a beer can on his head and shotguns it. He’s laid-back, funny, and reliably shows up for his friends. Sage values the easygoing connection they share and is glad to have Michael standing beside him on the big day.
Mother & Father Of The Groom
Sage’s parents have been constant supporters of our relationship, and their love and guidance have helped shape the incredible man I’m marrying. We’re so grateful for their kindness, strength, and the example they’ve set.
Mother & Father Of The Bride
My mom has been my biggest cheerleader & voice of reason. Her support means the world, and I’m so thankful she’s standing with us through this special season of life. Jeff may be my stepdad by title, but in all the ways that matter, he has truly stepped up as a father in my life. His love, support, and steady presence have meant more to me than words can say.
Special Family Attendants & Ring Bearer
My brother, Sage, and I have been through a lot together over the years. Yes—you read that right. My brother and my fiancé share the same name! It’s confused a few people along the way (and probably will again on the wedding day), but I promise it was not planned lol. Just two years apart, we grew up side by side and have shared so many of life's ups and downs. Our bond runs deep, and getting to live next door to him now as adults has been such a gift. Sharing dinners, trading favors, or just popping over to say hi. His wife, Hailey, is his high school sweetheart—and someone I’ve known since she was a child. It’s been so special to watch their love grow into a beautiful family. Their son, Shai, is our sweet ring bearer and such a huge part of my heart. Over the last three years, I’ve spent countless hours with him, and being his aunt NiNi has brought so much joy and meaning into my life. Our bond is something I treasure deeply. Having the three of them walk down the aisle together is incredibly special to me. Their love, support, and everyday presence in my life are something I’ll never take for granted!
