Madison and Isaiah’s story goes back much further than most people probably expect. They first met in middle school thanks to Madison’s cousin, Bryanne. Bryanne and Isaiah were in the same friend group, and since Madison and Bryanne were the same age, Madison often tagged along, where she quickly became friends with Isaiah. Bonding over their shared love of sports, the two became quick friends. Madison also admits she had a bit of a crush on Isaiah as far back as 2014. Her friends couldn’t quite understand why she thought “Track Suit Kid” was so cute. She still remembers being on a trip to Arkansas with Bryanne and feeling frustrated that her phone didn’t have good enough service to text him. At the time, though, their relationship remained just a friendship. Over the years they stayed in touch, occasionally catching up when they were both home from college or talking about the latest sporting event. Everything changed the night before Thanksgiving in 2022, also known as Blackout Wednesday, when they both happened to be at the Bullpen catching up with friends. That night sparked something more than friendship, and they talked every day after that. The only challenge was distance: Isaiah was finishing school and starting his first full-time job in the Chicago area, while Madison was already living and working in Wichita, Kansas. A few months later, Madison planned a trip to Chicago around St. Patrick’s Day, with her trusty sidekick Bryanne, because she wasn’t quite ready to face her new feelings for Isaiah alone. Although they only got to spend one day together before Isaiah had to return home for his great-grandfather’s funeral, Madison spent the rest of the holiday weekend texting him. Later that night, with a little St. Patrick’s Day courage, Madison simply texted Isaiah and asked if she could be his girlfriend. The rest is history. The two continued long distance until July 2024, when Isaiah moved to Wichita and brought his dog, Mac, along with him. Mac and Madison’s dog, Calvin, quickly became the best of friends. On September 6, 2025, Isaiah proposed to Madison in Forest Park in St. Louis, after she tried convincing him they should just stay home and watch the Illinois football game instead. Now, they’re counting down the days until their December wedding and are so excited for the life they’re building together.
