What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "Spring Formal"! For the ladies, think midi or floor length dresses in bright spring colors. For gentlemen, a suit and tie is preferred.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limitations, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you digitally RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The Whitlock Inn welcomes guests 30 minutes prior to the start time of the ceremony. Guests will be directed to the courtyard where the ceremony will take place. Access to the house will be limited to allow catering to finalize setup.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A bit of both! Guests will enjoy the ceremony and dinner outside, with dancing and cocktail hour inside. In early May the weather is typically around 75 degrees in Marietta, GA. But, we will not judge you if you are warm and take your jacket off at dinner :)

Is there transportation?

Answer

There will be a shuttle from the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center, where our room block is. The shuttle will pick up at 4:20 and 4:40 from the Hilton and drive guests to the Whitlock. The shuttle will also leave the Whitlock Inn at 10:00 PM for guests who chose to not attend the optional after party. There will not be a shuttle to the after party, as guests can walk from the venue!

What does parking look like at the venue?

Parking is available at Truist Bank, directly adjacent to Whitlock Inn. Truist Bank: 47 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064

What are some recommended transportation options if I'm staying at an Airbnb?

Answer

Uber and other rideshare options are readily available in the area. Please note, neither the Whitlock Inn, nor Truist Bank, allow for vehicles to be left overnight.

What about guests with mobility concerns?

Answer

The Whitlock is ADA compliant. Access to the ceremony in the courtyard has paved paths and there is a ramp leading into the house. There is an ADA compliant restroom in the ballroom.
