Question
When are you getting married?
Answer
We are doing a small private ceremony a few days prior to our reception. So, while you will not officially be hearing us say "I do", we hope to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family at our reception on Saturday, July 18th.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by May 1, 2026. Already know you can make it or have to regretfully decline? You can RSVP anytime and we greatly appreciate advanced notice. Our venue is small and we're very excited to share it with you. Please keep in mind that we have a small capacity and that means only the people on your invitation are invited. RSPVs allow us to have accurate numbers and plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
If kids are on your invitation they are welcome to join. That said, this is an adult oriented event and we encourage anyone able to seek childcare for the evening's festivities to do so. Please make sure your RSVP accounts for any children attending so we know who to expect.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Please stick to who is on your invitation. If you would like a plus one, we will give them out on a first come first serve basis after we have all our our RSVPs accounted for. Please email us at emilykarl2026@gmail.com to request a plus one.

What events are there?

Friday, July 17 - Happy Hour! Please join on Friday for happy hour. Light snacks will be available, but please note, dinner will not be provided. TIME AND LOCATION TBD Saturday, July 18 - Celebration! We will be ready to greet guests at 4pm at 4390 Y Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226 Sunday, July 19 - Goodbyes. TIME AND DATE TBD

Where is the celebration located?

4390 Y Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226 The venue is at the bottom of a very steep paved hill and parking is located at the top of the hill. Please walk carefully. Shuttles will be running regularly up and down the hill for those that do not feel comfortable walking.

Is there a shuttle to the venue?
Answer
YES! We will have a shuttle available from the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel to our venue. Times TBD but there will be several to and from the event. Please check back here for shuttle information closer to the event.

Where should I park?
Answer
There is a large grass field at the top of the venue for parking. It will be well marked. There is only room for 40 cars, so we encourage you to take the provided shuttle or use Uber/Lyft to get there. If you plan to take a car, please email us at emilykarl2026@gmail.com so we can keep track of how many vehicles there will be.

What is the dress code for the reception?
Answer
Fancy Casual. Wear something that makes you feel good, but please leave the sweats and leggings at home. Shoes - this is an outdoor venue with uneven and grass terrain. Please wear appropriate shoes.
