I've thought about this letter and this moment a hundred times over the last few years. So much life has happened since we ordered our original save the dates at the beginning of March 2020. We now have three beautiful nieces. I lost both of my grandmothers. We've become homeowners two minutes from the summer swim club I grew up going to. We have a yard for our dog who hates being outdoors, a laundry list of projects, and we know not to turn on the microwave and the fireplace fan at the same time. Brian dabbled in the art of making sourdough bread. I mastered the art of sampling sourdough bread. We spent a year adventuring between Edmonds and Portland. Together we've adapted, powered through the lows, and celebrated the highs - I think this means we're all but legally married at this point. It's time to party. Honestly, I think we're the most excited about having all of our favorite people in the same room. You are the people who have raised us and defined who we are today. You partied, cried, and laughed until it hurt with us. You mentored and loved us. You fed us (most of you have also gotten us drunk). We wouldn't be here without all of you and we'd like to take this opportunity to celebrate all of the love, time, and energy you have given us. Love, Elizabeth
