Things To Do

Fashion Island

401 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach, CA 92660

This area is a great one-stop destination for dining and shopping. Tyler and I love coming here on Saturdays to get our steps in, pop into a shop or two, and end the day with drinks at R+D. Restaurants R+D JOEY Ocean 48 Sweet Green Great Maple Joe & The Juice Rooftop at Restoration Hardware Shopping Macy’s Nordstrom Bloomingdale’s Neiman Marcus

Balboa Peninsula

Newport Beach, CA

To really experience the charm of Newport, head down to Balboa Island. Stop by Huskins Coffee to grab a drink before strolling the island on the waterfront path. While you’re there, be sure to try a famous frozen banana — a local favorite. If you’re feeling hungry afterward, Luke’s Lobster on Balboa Island is a great stop. The island is also perfect for exploring by bike!

Lido Marina Village

3434 Via Lido, Newport Beach, CA 92663

Lido Marina Village is where Tyler and I had our first date at Lido Bottle Works! It’s a great spot to spend a few hours shopping, strolling, and grabbing a bite by the water. Whether you’re in the mood for Nobu or Bear Flag, you’ll find a great range of dining options here and the shopping is hard to beat! You might see little boats in the harbor! Those are called Duffy boats and if you have the time we strongly encourage getting a group together to take a ride at Duffy Electric Boats Sales and Rentals Newport Beach (PCH).
